CIMAGE Group of Institutions, Patna, in association with SPIC MACAY, hosted a mesmerizing flute recital by renowned flautist and Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee Pt. Rajendra Prasanna. The musical programme offered students an enriching experience of Indian classical music and created an atmosphere filled with melody, tradition, and cultural appreciation.

The distinguished artist was accompanied by Shri Abhishek Mishra on Tabla and Shri Sangam on Flute. Their beautiful coordination of melody and rhythm made the performance a memorable cultural experience for the students and faculty members of CIMAGE Group of Institutions.

A Soulful Beginning with Raag Vrindavani

Pt. Rajendra Prasanna began the programme with a captivating rendition of Raag Vrindavani. The soothing notes of the flute immediately captured the attention of the audience and filled the auditorium with the essence of Indian classical music.

One of the most memorable moments of the programme came when Pt. Rajendra Prasanna performed ‘Ram Siya Ram’ on the flute.

As the familiar melody echoed through the auditorium, the entire hall began humming along with the performance. The participation of the audience transformed the recital into a beautiful shared musical experience.

The combination of Pt. Rajendra Prasanna’s flute, Shri Abhishek Mishra’s Tabla, and the accompanying flute performance by Shri Sangam created a wonderful blend of melody and rhythm.

From the classical notes of Raag Vrindavani to the audience joining in with Ram Siya Ram, followed by the concluding Chhath melody, the programme presented different shades of India’s musical and cultural heritage.

At the conclusion of the programme, Dr. (Prof.) Neeraj Agrawal, Director, CIMAGE Group of Institutions, felicitated Pt. Rajendra Prasanna, Shri Abhishek Mishra and Shri Sangam by presenting them with Angavastras as a mark of respect and appreciation for their performances.

Mrs. Megha Agrawal, Director, CIMAGE, was also present during the programme along with other faculty members and a large number of students.
