We live in an era where technology redefines every facet of our lives, presenting our nation with unprecedented opportunities. At the CIMAGE Group of Institutions in Patna, Bihar, we believe that education must evolve just as rapidly to prepare our students for the future. During our momentous National Technology Day-2026 celebrations, our campus became the crucible for a transformative vision that will shape the technological landscape of our state and country.
Embracing National Technology Day with Visionary Goals
National Technology Day serves as a powerful reminder of India’s indigenous scientific prowess and technological trajectory. Addressing an attentive gathering of students and faculty on our campus in Patna, Prof. (Dr.) Neeraj Agrawal, Director of CIMAGE Group of Institutions, delivered an inspiring keynote speech. He highlighted the remarkable demographic dividend of our nation and noted that Bihar stands proudly as the youngest state in India, where out of a population of 13 crore, more than 7 crore are youth. To fulfill the Prime Minister’s grand vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, Bihar must run at full throttle, channelizing the time, mind, and effort of its energetic population into mastering emerging domains like Artificial Intelligence and robotics.
Bihar’s First Physical AI Degree Courses Announced
In a landmark announcement that marks a historic milestone for higher education in Bihar, Dr. Agrawal officially declared the launch of the state’s very first physical AI masters and bachelor degree courses. Unlike purely theoretical software studies, this new curriculum entails how machines integrate AI, robotics, and the Internet of Things to think and react dynamically—such as smart traffic signals managed through artificial intelligence.
Students at CIMAGE will gain hands-on experience working with cutting-edge equipment:
- Cobots and synchro robotic hands for precision industrial applications.
- Advanced warehousing robotic machines demonstrating automated logistics.
- Specialized laboratories designed to bridge classroom theories with practical implementation.
Expanding Campus Infrastructure: The Sumedh Buddha Center of Excellence
Growth requires space, vision, and world-class infrastructure. During the celebrations, Dr. Agrawal introduced our expansive new institutional development spanning roughly 1,95,000 square feet, proudly named the Sumedh Buddha Center of Excellence. Alongside this, we look forward to the upcoming Guru Gobind Singh Center of Excellence, which will further amplify our academic offerings. These facilities are envisioned as centers of deep personal and professional transformation, where students follow the dedication of their teachers and transform their futures in this very life.
Empowering the Youth: Turning AI Into Opportunity
As automation and artificial intelligence alter the global workforce, anxiety about job displacement is natural among students. However, our leadership views this technological wave as an unprecedented vehicle for empowerment. Inspiring our participants during the event, Dr. Agrawal offered a powerful perspective:
AI should not become a threat for you, it should become an opportunity for you.
He further emphasized that knowledge must flow freely without barriers, ensuring that every dedicated learner in Bihar can harness technology to elevate their career trajectory.
