BCA, B.Sc. IT and BBA students from Patna join Google’s nationwide student ambassador programme — and will now lead AI and new-technology awareness on campus.

A Proud Moment for Patna’s Technology Classrooms
Students of CIMAGE Group of Institutions have added another significant achievement to the institution’s record. Google has selected 16 students of the group as ‘Google Student Brand Ambassadors’ — a nationwide programme that brings undergraduate students on board as campus-level associates of Google.
The selected students come from the BCA, B.Sc. IT and BBA programmes. The selection reflects their technical curiosity, their appetite for learning, and their active engagement with emerging technologies — the very qualities that CIMAGE has been building through its technology-first teaching approach for years.
This recognition arrives on the back of a growing partnership between the institution and Google. CIMAGE is Patna’s only Google for Education partner campus, and earlier this year the institution’s leadership was hosted at Google’s Ananta campus in Bengaluru — a visit we covered in detail in CIMAGE Leadership Visits Google Ananta Bengaluru.
What Is the Google Student Brand Ambassador Programme?
Every year, Google invites applications for its Student Brand Ambassador programme. Undergraduate students from across India apply, and Google looks for one thing above all: a genuine drive to learn and share cutting-edge technology.
After a multi-stage selection process, the national list of chosen ambassadors was announced — and 16 CIMAGE students found their names on it. These students will now work as associates of Google on their own campus.
What Will the CIMAGE Ambassadors Actually Do?
The role is hands-on, not ceremonial. As Google Student Brand Ambassadors, these students will:
- Introduce peers to Google’s newest technologies, including Google Gemini, artificial intelligence tools, and reverse image search.
- Organise on-campus workshops on the technologies Google is actively building, so that as many students as possible can connect with the world of modern tech.
- Share digital tools and learning opportunities available through Google’s education ecosystem.
- Encourage responsible and effective use of AI — helping classmates understand not just how these tools work, but how to use them well.
Each selected ambassador also receives a special kit from Google as part of the programme.
Workshop-led learning is already a familiar format at CIMAGE. Students recently built and demonstrated real mobile applications in a 13-Day Flutter App Development Workshop, and coding practice is structured through the CIMAGE DSA Practice Maha-abhiyan with 1,000 curated challenges. The Google ambassador sessions will now add another layer to this ecosystem.
Different Courses, Different Contributions
The selection deliberately spans both technology and management streams:
BCA and B.Sc. IT students will carry the latest developments in computer science, information technology and artificial intelligence to their classmates — the natural extension of what they already study in the BCA programme at Patna’s leading IT campus.
BBA students will focus on the intersection of technology, AI and management — explaining how these fields interact and what new career opportunities are opening up where business meets AI.

Why This Matters for a Student’s Career
Beyond the recognition, the role builds a set of skills that employers actively look for: technical knowledge, a working understanding of artificial intelligence, leadership ability, and communication skills.
The selection is expected to raise technology awareness across the campus, and it carries a direct career benefit too. Having worked with Google adds real weight to a résumé — an edge that matters when students walk into placement interviews. CIMAGE’s campus placement record already includes recruiters such as Wipro, TCS and Deloitte, and experiences like this one strengthen a candidate’s profile well before the placement season begins. What the Institution Says
Congratulating the selected students, Dr. Prof. Neeraj Agrawal, Director, CIMAGE Group of Institutions, said that knowledge of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies has become essential for students today. He described Google’s selection of 16 CIMAGE students as a matter of pride for the institution, adding that opportunities like these help students connect with modern technology alongside their studies, recognise their own potential, and prepare better for the future.
According to the institution, the achievement is another important step towards strengthening technical education and connecting students with modern technologies.
Director Mrs. Megha Agrawal and Dean Prof. Dr. Neeraj Poddar also congratulated all the selected students and wished them a bright future.
